On May 22 of 2011, 16 year old Lantz Hare (also known as Lantz Pantz) was taken from us by the “Joplin Tornado” which swept through plains of Joplin, Missouri. Lantz Pantz was a passionate BMX rider, while also being a “straight A” student in his academic pursuits. Personally, he was a caring friend who would dedicate his time and attention to others. He and his story will not only be remembered, but will continue to touch the minds, hearts, and souls of many through the LP (Lantz Pantz) Foundation.
The LP Foundation has been established to assist youth participation in extreme sports such as BMX, skateboarding, snowboarding, martial arts, and similar activities by providing equipment, camp scholarships and tournament fees. Another area of focus is to provide food, clothing and general everyday supplies for youth in need. This goal will be achieved through food drives, clothing collections and store gift cards. In addition, The LP Foundation will help to provide relief in times of natural disaster for families as well as their communities.
The LP Foundation is a non-profit organization assisting to the betterment of young extreme athletes and kids in need. Donations can be made through PayPal or mail-in and are tax deductible. We are also accepting volunteers for those who are passionate in lending a hand to assist in the work of our foundation.
